Contravoce
Integrated for soprano Luz Angelica Uribe and counter-tenor Hector Sosa, Contravoce is nowadays the best model in Mexico of the virtuous vocal that represents the baroque classic and romantic bel-canto repertoire. With more than eight years of artistic activity as a duet, they have release in Mexico important pieces from the operatic repertoire that for many years had been forgotten, like; Händel’s Giulio Cesare and Rodelinda and Rossini’s Tancredi. The magnificent conjunction of voices, they refine musicality and the knowledge of the style they present in their imaginative programs, all of these made each of their presentations an enriched experience for the public anxious to enjoy an inusual repertoire, but which rescue is important. Their opera repertoire includes: Händel’s Rodelinda, Rinaldo, Giulio Cesare and Flavio; Gluck’s Orfeo Ed Euridice; Mozart’s Mitridate, La Clemenza Di Tito, Ascanio In Alba and Lucio Silla; Rossini’s Tandredi and Semiramide and Donizetti’s Linda De Chamounix.
